The Procharger P-Series Pontiac G8 2008-09 Supercharger Full System Kit (L76) is now available for purchase. Utilizing 8 psi of intercooled boost, a ProCharger System for GT-equipped G8 produces a 50-55% power gain on otherwise stock engines running high quality pump gas. Built around the ProCharger P-1SC-1 supercharger and a dedicated, 8-rib drive, the system comes 100% complete, including the front-mounted air-to-air intercooler, fuel injectors and a hand-held programmer.
Intercooled ProCharger Systems provide the coolest charge air temperatures, largest power gains and most repeatable performance available. ProCharger’s P-Series Systems feature the industry standard P-1SC-1 ProCharger, with self-contained oiling, billet impeller and billet gear case standard. Our highly effective and reliable air-to-air intercooling system combines both a useful mounting location and best-in-class supercharger efficiency. This minimizes heat production and transfer maximizing our reliable power gains.
Procharger Systems come with a variety of finish options for your Procharger system, as well as it’s mounting bracket. For the cheapest price, Procharger offers a satin finish, which comes standard on both the Procharger and the bracket. This finish appears as a bare metal look, which is nothing too special. Also offered for finishes are the black finish, and the polished finish. The black finish is a low gloss coating that is very durable, and provides a stealthier look under the engine bay. The polished finish is exactly how it sounds. The procharger and the bracket can both be polished for those who prefer a flashy engine bay. All finishes are mainly aesthetic, and don’t affect the performance of the Procharger.
The 3 Core Intercooler Upgrade provides a larger intercooler capable of supporting higher horsepower levels than the standard 2 core intercooler. Another option available from Procharger is their Helical Cut Gearset. This Gearset eliminates noise vibration that the standard straight cut gears produce. This Gearset option doesn’t add horsepower, but it is a good thing to include if you plan on driving your vehicle frequently, as it eliminates the light rattling noise from the straight cut gearset.
