Procharger P-Series GM Truck/SUV 2014-18 Supercharger Full System Kit (5.3)

The Procharger P-Series GM Truck/SUV 2014-18 Supercharger Full System Kit (5.3) is now available for purchase. ProCharger is proud to add another product to our expansive truck/suv lineup–a complete air-to-air intercooled supercharger system for work hard, play hard 2018-2014 GM trucks and SUV’s equipped with the 5.3L engine. The HO Intercooled System features a shared-drive design for the self-contained P-1SC-1 supercharger and comes standard with a patented, self-contained oiling design. Our highly effective and reliable air-to-air intercooling system combines both a useful mounting location (with Vertical and Horizontal mounting options) and best-in-class supercharger efficiency. This minimizes heat production and transfer maximizing our reliable power gains. These new systems produce a reliable 45-50% horsepower gain with just 8 psi and factory fuel injectors, on otherwise stock engines running pump gas.

System Options

The ProCharger P-1X head units feature the robust, self-contained gearcase that is standard on most ProCharger models, but with a new aerodynamic compressor design that creates cooler charge air temperatures and more horsepower at the same boost level than our industry-standard P-1SC-1. This higher efficiency design is a bolt-in replacement for P-1SC-1 equipped systems and has even greater max-power potential.

Another option available from Procharger is their Helical Cut Gearset. This Gearset eliminates noise vibration that the standard straight cut gears produce. This Gearset option doesn’t add horsepower, but it is a good thing to include if you plan on driving your vehicle frequently, as it eliminates the light rattling noise from the straight cut gearset.

Keeping the incoming air cool is important, so it is good to have options on how you keep it cool. Procharger offers both Vertical and Horizontal mounting options for your 3-Core intercooler. This option was created because of a variation in the fitment between different models. The trucks require a vertical intercooler, and the SUVs require a horizontal intercooler. Also important is how that air is fed into the unit. Procharger offers a Forward Facing Air Inlet option, which relocates the procharger to the other side of the bracket. This puts the air inlet in the front, instead of towards the back.

Finish Options

Procharger Systems come with a variety of finish options for your Procharger unit, as well as it’s mounting bracket. For the cheapest price, Procharger offers a satin finish, which comes standard on both the Procharger and the bracket. This finish appears as a bare metal look, which is nothing too special. The black finish is a low gloss black coating that doesn’t stand out. The polished finish is exactly how it sounds. The Procharger and the bracket are offered in a polished finish for those who prefer a flashy engine bay. All finishes are mainly aesthetic, and don’t affect the performance of the Procharger.

IMPORTANT: Due To Variability Among OEM Computers, And the Prevalence of custom modifications, Dyno tuning may be required. 2015+ Vehicles may require an ECM Unlock.  It must be specified if the vehicle is 2WD or 4WD. Call for details.
